The daily maintenance of the slurry pump is essential to ensure its stable operation. The following are detailed recommendations on the daily maintenance of slurry pumps:
Keep clean and dry:
Slurry pumps need to be kept clean and dry at all times to avoid oil and illegal leaks.
Check bearing tank oil level:
Check whether the oil level in the bearing box is suitable every day, and the correct oil level is near the middle scale line of the oil window.
Replace the lubricating oil regularly, replace it once after 7-10 days of operation of the new pump, and then replace it once a year depending on the use.
Health check:
Regularly check whether the pump is running abnormally, such as abnormal sound, vibration and leakage, and deal with problems in time.
It is strictly forbidden to run the pump in the vacuum state, because this will cause the pump to vibrate violently and affect its life.
Blockage prevention and protection:
Metal objects and large solids are prohibited from entering the pump, so as not to damage the flow parts and block the impeller flow path.
Pay attention to flexible substances such as rubber, cotton, and plastic sheeting entering the pump, which may also cause blockage or damage.
Shaft seal and packing inspection:
Periodically check the seal water pressure and flow rate to ensure compliance with requirements.
When using polytetrafluoroethylene or carbon fiber to soak polytetrafluoroethylene filler, its temperature and lubrication should be checked.
When the leakage increases, adjust the packing gland bolt and replace the packing.
Temperature and clearance check:
Periodically check and adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front wall of the volute to keep it between 0.75mm and 1.50mm.
Wear parts management:
Pay attention to the loss of the wearing parts of the slurry pump, such as the shaft sleeve, packing, etc., timely maintenance or replacement.
When replacing the wearing parts, ensure that the assembly is correct and the clearance is adjusted reasonably to avoid tight friction.
Long-term shutdown treatment:
If the downtime is long, the sediment in the pump should be cleaned by backwashing before restarting.
Regular check and rotation:
Periodically check the loosening and cleaning of the support of the water inlet and outlet piping system to ensure that there is no pressure outside the pump body.
Each pump should rotate 1/4 times every 6 days so that the shaft can withstand static load and external vibration evenly.
Through the above daily maintenance measures, the service life of the slurry pump can be effectively extended to ensure its stable operation.
